Many companies have done much to ensure that their mobile employees is taken care of. It started back when companies bought cars for sharing or to the individual employee. Later financial leasing became popular and are now partial outsourcing in terms of fleet management has gained traction.
Fleet management has until now largely been done by partnering with one supplier of vehicles and related services. For many companies, it has been a relief just to get rid of fuel card administration, repair bills etc. and hence they are reluctant to introduce more suppliers as they fear the administration will go up.
